Gorditas Tonys is a pretty low-key restaurant, but they make some pretty good, and pretty big gorditas worth checking out.
I don't eat many gorditas, usually I find myself ordering burritos when I visit places like La Gorda, but I remembered someone posted a pic of some big a$$ gorditas from Tonys and when I saw this new location I decided to break from my burrito tendencies.
I had a chicharrón and a chile rojo gorditas, both good and very satisfying, but I kept hearing orders for nopales gorditas after I ordered, which makes me think that's their must-have (or I went during International Nopales Appreciation Day, which is totally a thing and you don't need to look it up to confirm), I'll have to check it out for next time I visit.
There's no shortage of places to grab a quick gordita or burrito for lunch in El Paso, but it's nice to have more options, can't have too much of a good thing.
